The Data API (Advanced
Topic)
|
Although a bit advanced for most
users, the Data API (Application Programming Interface) allows one
to build custom scanners in any programming language, such as Visual
Basic, C++, C#, VB.Net, Delphi, FoxPro, etc. Literally any
programming language can be used, even x86 Assembly Language!
 |
The API allows access to all available historic
and intraday market data via one easy to use interface, enabling you to build scanner plug-ins of your own. If you are a software developer,
the Market Data Manager is a great plug-and-play solution for your scanning systems. The database API uses technology borrowed from our
RMD Server database engine. This advanced technology allows the API to read and write to the large time series database quickly and efficiently.
